David developed a career as a Programme Transformation Director in Europe with Caterpillar Financial Services, Associates First Capital Corporation and Dell Financial Services before joining Richmond Consulting Group in 2000 as a founder member.

David is a business oriented financial services professional with many years experience of process, systems, operational improvement and management across a variety of leasing, financial services and insurance companies in Europe, the US, Canada and Latin America. Authored and co-authored many articles in leasing publications.

Speaker at the Equipment Finance & Leasing Association.

David specialises in implementation and conversion projects, bringing a clear idea of the operations, systems and change management requirements to each project.

David Harmer


David is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and has spent his career in financial services, leasing and banking. Before returning as a director of Richmond, David worked as a Senior Consultant for the company followed by several years time out in the banking sector, including heading Finance Change for the Swiss private banking arm of Barclays Bank.

David specialises in implementation projects, finance change and transformation, and complex data re-mediation and reconciliations.

Emmanuel Pierson

Emmanuel developed a career as a business leader in Europe with Caterpillar Financial, Daimler Chrysler Capital, GE Capital and Terex Financial Services, before joining Richmond Consulting Group in 2018.

Emmanuel has a wealth of experience in improving business performance for asset finance organizations internationally and specifically in sales, credit, operations, IT and arrears management.

Emmanuel specializes in corporate transformation programs including green field start-ups, captive and vendor finance program development, credit risk management, global performance management and process improvement for matrix and multicultural organizations.
